How commercial vehicle crashes differ from ordinary car accidents (16 อ่าน)

Has anyone here dealt with a crash caused by a company vehicle, like a delivery van, a box truck or a rideshare car? I am trying to understand how these cases usually differ from a regular collision between two private drivers.

A friend of mine was hit by a box truck last year and the thing that surprised him most was how quickly the company insurer got involved. An adjuster was calling within two days and an early offer appeared long before anyone had a full picture of his injuries. What helped him was reading a few pages that explain how commercial claims actually work, and one of the clearer ones came from Michael Brook, where black box data and multi party liability were described in plain language. From what I saw, the main difference is that you are not dealing with one driver but with a company, its insurer and sometimes a leasing firm as well. Before signing anything I would check who the vehicle is registered to and whether the evidence is still being preserved.
