Most Reliable Smart TV Remote Apps? (47 อ่าน)

Some of them looked great in screenshots but kept disconnecting or lagging when I tried to use them for basic stuff like adjusting volume or switching apps. I dont mind using my phone as a controller, but I need something stable that doesnt require constant reconnecting. What Smart TV control apps have you actually used long term, and which ones ended up being the most reliable in real everyday use?

I tested a few too, mostly because I wanted something simple that worked over Wi-Fi without messing around with codes. The one that stuck with me was the Universal Remote app from Eltima. It connected automatically once my iPhone and TV were on the same network, and the layout felt close to a real remote volume, channels, navigation, even quick access to streaming apps. What I appreciated most was that it didnt feel bloated with unnecessary features. If you are unsure, you can Try for free and see if it detects your TV right away. Thats basically how I decided installed it, tested it for a few days, and just kept using it.

Between streaming boxes, soundbars, and smart lights, there used to be five remotes on my coffee table. Now it’s mostly just my phone handling everything. The only thing I’ve learned is that a strong Wi-Fi connection makes all the difference. Once your network is stable, these smart setups feel a lot smoother overall.
